Sony has created a 16K screen which is currently being displayed in Las Vegas and allows people to stand right next to it. It says “it is a window to the world”. This is because when views stood next to it, they did not notice any distorted image and it was as clear and brighter as we see the world through our naked eyes.

One expert said it would likely take decades for 16K tech to filter down to consumer products. The screen is 63ft by 17ft (19.2m by 5.4m) and is currently being installed at a new research center that has been built for the Japanese cosmetics group Shiseido in the city of Yokohama, south of Tokyo. It is so large it will stretch between the first and second floors. The flat screen is as long as a bus. The display contains 16 times as many pixels as a 4K television and 64 times as many as a regular 1080p high definition TV, meaning it can show images in far more detail than normal which is amazing as people want more clarity on the picture they see on television.
Sony also added that they are moving from 4K to 8K for consumers to purchase but a 16K television is for corporate world for the time being. By the end of 2019, Sony will release a 8K television for consumers to purchase.
