The first episode from Game Of Thrones Season 8 was a massive hit which nearly broke all its previous records and Season 8, the shows last can be quoted as the biggest season ever already. With a lot of rumors, fan theories, and fake plots for episode 2 floating around, here are some major things that can happen in episode two of the HBO Original Drama.
The first episode “Winterfell” lasted for a total duration of 54 minutes, and currently, the unnamed second episode is quoted to be 58 minutes long, while the final four have been reportedly said to be 80 minutes long. According to the leaks, episode 2 could be titled “The Rightful Queen” which appears to have a direct reference to Dany which won’t bode well for her at the end of the episode, but looks like she will be mocking her claim on the line. While the leak has a major chance of being wrong, it still leaves a massive hint for the challenges Dany might confront in the upcoming episode.
The description of the above image (in French) when translated states, “Jon Snow and Daenerys will gather their troops before the confrontation with the army of the dead. The terrible menace put in jeopardy everyone south of the wall”. Which reveals that Jon Snow and Daenerys (Dany) might battle with the army of the dead in the upcoming episode and hints that the Night King will be aiming towards further cities in the north – past Winterfell.
The preview teaser of Episode 2 had recent evidence heading into Season 8, Episode 2 is helping to build a case that the real Azor Ahai might actually be Jorah Mormont. The clips from the preview teaser of Episode 2, moderately confirms that the Heartsbane the ancestral Valyrian Steel sword of House Tarly which The Tarlys have held for some 500 years, has been handed to Jorah Mormont by Samwell Tarly.
Later in the same teaser, we see Jorah pulling out a sword out of its scabbard and he is wearing his full knight armor, by which we assume this can happen just before the start of an upcoming battle with the Night King.
Summarising the above, Episode 2 of the HBO’s Game Of Thrones Season 8 will focus entirely on everyone in the Winterfell arming themselves for the arrival of Night King.
Game Of Thrones Season 8 Episode 2 will air on Sunday at 9 p.m on HBO.
