Netflix’s The Umbrella Academy is an American superhero web T.V series that follows the adventures of a dysfunctional family of adopted sibling superheroes who reunite to solve the mystery of their father’s death, and the threat of an impending apocalypse. The series is based on the comic book of the same name, created by Gerard Way and Gabriel Ba. At the end of season one, Umbrella Academy left a lot of secrets unfolded which have been a reason for mishap in the fans mind from a long time. Here are a few big mysteries from season one which was left untold to the viewers:
#1 What Father Wanted To Tell The Children?
We saw a conversation between Klaus and Reginald Hargreeves, his adopted father. Reginald wanted to tell Klaus about something that relates to the Apocalypse. However, he was hauled out just before he revealed anything. There’s a lot of mystery left on Reginald’s side. Who was he?, Why he adopted these kids? and What else he knew about Apocalypse and Vanya?
#2 Ben’s Death
As seen previously in Season One, Ben was a sort of one man army for everything coming ahead, the mystery regarding the death of Ben was left unsolved in Season One. We hope Season 2 will bring light on Ben’s mysterious death.
#3 What was Inside the Jar
In the Season finale, a flashback was shown where Reginald Hargreeves said goodbye to his dying wife and released a small jar full tiny lights or even fireflies into the air. Reddit user jasuschristsuperstar believes that the objects inside of the jar were actually connected to the powers all seven children ended up possessing. Another Reddit user spicycornchip took that theory further by suggesting that the little balls of light were actually the children themselves who had yet to be born.
The mysteries left in Season One will be solved soon when Season Two officially gets on the cards. Production of the upcoming season is said likely to begin in the next few months now that season two is officially happening. So we would expect the brand new episodes to hit screens in early 2020.
