Relationships and marriage can be tricky and complicated and one such example to this has been proved by the former NBA star Josh Smith. He filed for a divorce from his wife after spending nearly 10 years together, but soon after that, he dismissed the case once things didn’t add up.
According to the court Josh filed for divorce from his wife, Alexandria Smith, in April. In his petition, he mentioned that they were married on July 31, 2010, but were separated yet living under the same roof for the sake of their kids. In his documents, he also checked for the boxes that say the marriage was “irretrievably broken” with “no prospects for reconciliation.”
The couple shares four minor kids with the youngest born in 2018. Josh appealed for joint legal and physical custody. He believed that it is important for both parents to pay support. Josh also came out to say that they signed a prenuptial agreement a month before their wedding and requested it is enforced as soon as possible.
We also got a really quick from Alexandria agreeing to the divorce news but she but appealed for primary physical custody of their kids. She also later revealed they were still living in the same Atlanta home with the kids at the time.
She at the start only wanted a lump sum alimony payment along with her temporary and permanent support. But later she also asked that she gets to use their home and Josh to be moved out of the house soon.
The split was seen moving but after a few weeks both of them came forward to dismiss the divorce and neither of them has given any sort of reasons as to why.
