Images from the remake of David Cronenberg’s Rabid shared by Jen and Sylvia Soska are very awful. However, here on Dread Central, certain truly twisted prostheses have appeared, not to mention in pages of the Rue Morgue and Fangoria journals. Nonetheless, pictures of the busting faces of Laura Vandervoort were too extreme for Twitter.
This morning, Soska has taken to Facebook to announce the suspension of “Twisted Twins.”
Bad girls, We’re going to be returning. However, man, the prosthesis @mastersfx1 in #Rabid must be medically correct to suspend our World Premiere publicity using a FrightFest banner. I like it but shut down on Twitter, on the cover @ruemorguemag & @fangoria. We live in a wild world. Why not everybody did it when we dropped our first trailer and announced the premiere, but we’re not a big studio film, so strange things are. We would appreciate it if you could be # Rabid on our Twitter without us.
