13 Reasons why has been in the news back from its first season. Whether it be the suicides or book ban or the release of new seasons. Well, it already has 2 seasons airing on Netflix and season 3 is around the corner.
On June 6 of 2018 the official Instagram handle of thirteen reasons why posted a small video writing “What happens now? Season 3 of #13reasonswhy is coming” but they didn’t announce any date.
Earlier this year, the international streaming giant announced that 13 Reasons Why would return in the “second half of the year,”
Well, recently the actor Zack Prusack, who is only credited as a ‘jock’ on the show tweeted and then deleted a spoiler about the upcoming season of thirteen reasons why; yes the release date.
“13 Reasons Why season 3. October 2019! Let’s go!” He wrote on Twitter, before swiftly deleting it, maybe because he must have got a concerned text from his agent or an angry email from some Netflix executive.
But all we know is that we’ll probably see the season 3 in October of this year which also matches the official announcement’s “second half of the year”.
Though we’ll not see Katherine Langford who plays the dead girl Hannah Baker in this season. The actress had bid a goodbye to the show via her Instagram post last year.
In her post, she wrote,”‘Hannah…I love you…and I let you go’ Those are the words I was able to say six months ago, and now can finally share with you as my journey on @13reasonswhy has officially come to an END! As most of you know, this was my first ever job and I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to tell Hannah’s story so fully in season 1, and to be asked back for a season 2. Thankyou to @netflix @paramountpics @anoncontent , the incredible producers, creatives, cast and crew for making these last 2 years so special. And to all of you here – Thank you for filling my life with love and light.”
So let’s wait for October and one another amazing season of the show!
