Stranger Things 3, what a great season! Worth the wait? Indeed. But this is the problem with great shows that once you’re done with it, it leaves you wanting more. Stranger Things season 3 was a roller coaster, to say the least. F.Y.I, this article contains some spoilers, not a lot, but definitely some.
We have all seen the finale and what happens in it. But did he?, well I hope not. And we just may have a reason to believe so. Let’s analyze a couple of minutes of the finale. If you go to 49:18 of the episode you can see James right beside the gigantic machine moments before fireworks started. And if we go to 50:15, we can’t see James.
We can also see four people getting vaporized by the radiation. But there is no proof that chief Hopper died during this incident. A scene that adds to our suspicion is the one in the mid-post credit.
Two Russian guards can be seen approaching a cell. While one of the guards is approaching a cell the other guards say “NO, not the American”.
A couple of scenes before this scene we can see the Byers family packing their things into a truck and moving away. This could mean that the story might take place in some new location.
Matt Duffer has confirmed our doubts as he said this in one of his interviews, “I think the biggest thing that’s going to happen is it’s going to open up a little bit, not necessarily in terms of scale [or] in terms of special effects, but open up in terms of allowing plotlines into areas outside of Hawkins.”
