Good news for Ozark fans as the new season has been confirmed by Jason Bateman on his Twitter account. By the end of season 2, we found ourselves in shock. So many things happened in that finale.
Well, again it is no new news that the season 3 has been confirmed as Jason Bateman tweeted the following message on his twitter account in October 2018 just months after the release of season 2- “I’m happy for me, but concerned for Marty it’s official OZARK 3 is on its way”. That gave us some hints about the coming season.
What can we expect from Ozark season 3?
Chris Mundy has said that season 4 will find Marty and Wendy Byrde struggling with their issues. Chris also added that Wendy’s Brother will also be getting more screen time. “We’ve hinted at the first couple years as having some sort of mental illness in the past”, he added “ going to be a very destabilizing factor,”.
He said that the story is still evolving and he would like to take his time and see which ending fits the story. Chris also said that we could possibly be looking at more 3 seasons “We’ve always talked about it as five seasons,” and possibly up to seven.
But again reminded that this would only be possible if Netflix allows the show to run for that long as the final decision will not be his. It will also depend on how the audience responds to the new season and how the story evolves.
Season 1 was released in July followed by the second season in August. Hopefully, we can expect the third season by the end of 2019.
