Kiefer Sutherland (52) loves to be on stage, be it as an actor or as a singer. This week, the “24” star traveled through Europe, where he introduced his new album “Reckless & Me”. During his stay in Denmark, the big disaster happened.
The 52-year-old slipped on the steps of his tour bus and injured heavily in the fall to the ribs. As he wrote on Instagram, at the moment he can hardly breathe and in no case sing.
Of course, the last three dates of his tour in Sweden and Denmark fall into the water. Kiefer Sutherland, however, promised his fans to catch up on the dates as soon as possible.
Although the Brit can look back on a great career as an actor, he now puts a lot of time and energy into his music career. Professionally, this fits in perfectly, as the highly successful Netflix series “Designated Survivor” with Sutherland in the lead role as US President, was discontinued after three seasons this year. The perfect time for a new chapter?
Why not, because, as he revealed in an interview with the People magazine, music has been one of his great passions since his teenage years. The reason was his big brother:
“I really started to get interested in music because I had a big brother that I admired about everything and he was the biggest music fan in the world.” And although the serial star grew up with rock tunes, he’s now successfully making country music. Music. With a cowboy hat and pointed boots, it was touring through North America and Europe.
