Friends starrer David Schwimmer announced that there are chances of the show to return on screens again. Fans were craving for the Central Perk reunion in the future. But the show’s co-creator Marta Kauffman denied the rumors of adding new episodes in the series by saying ” I don’t want to “mess up a good thing” by penning new episodes.
Later Schwimmer also said that Friends ended perfectly at the end of season 10. Jennifer Aniston on the comeback of the series said: “Anything could happen.”
However, in other news, it was reported that Friends would be removed from Netflix in 2020, which made fans disheartened. In a press release, Warner confirmed that all 236 Friends episodes would only stream on the new HBO Max platform following its launch next year.
Netflix officially announced it on their social media handle. Netflix wrote on their official Twitter account: “The One Where We Have To Say Goodbye.”
Jennifer Aniston got nostalgic while speaking about a reunion she said: “I started to find my confidence when I was on Friends, for sure,” she said. “In a way, being on that show was the ultimate trust exercise. There was comfort in numbers there, so we all held each other up.
“I miss a lot about that time. Having an entire job, pure joy. I miss getting to be with people I love massively and respect beyond words. So, yes, these days I’m super nostalgic.”
Nostalgic enough for a reunion, hm?
