After running two successful seasons, the American adult animated sitcom, Big Mouth, originally premiered in 2017, is back with a third season. In August 2019, season 3, scheduled to premiere on October 4, 2019; was announced. Netflix has also confirmed picking the comedy up for seasons 4, 5 and 6. The series follows the lives of a group of curious 7th graders in Bridgetown Middle School, who come to terms with their puberty hormones and explore the various dimensions of adolescence in the suburbs of New York City in modern-day America.

The series is originally inspired by Kroll and Goldberg’s childhood. The head for adult animation in Netflix, Mike Moon said, “‘Big Mouth’ brilliantly captures the most awkward phase in a person’s life, puberty, in a hilarious yet heartwarming way.” He has also confirmed that they ‘cannot wait to bring more stories, hormones, and humor to Netflix members around the world’.
