The Matrix is a seminal sci-fi action film, the 1999 hit with Keanu Reeves and Laurence Fishburne. And now it appears to be time for a reboot, with some of the major stars taking over their roles. Here’s what we know about The Matrix 4 so far.
What Will Be The Title Of Matrix 4?
As of now, the film is called only Matrix 4, but this name is probable to change near the release date of the film.
Given the titles of the two current sequences— The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions — we are likely to have another R-word subtitle.
Who Will Be The Cast Of Matrix 4?
To date, Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss will return to the fourth film, and Keanu’s part as Neo has been confirmed.
The new movie should be written, directed and produced by Co-creator Lana Wachowski.
Lilly Wachowski, who co-created the franchise with her sister, blessed the project previously this year so she is unlikely to be involved.
It is also unclear now whether Laurence Fishburne, who was one of the only survivors in The Matrix Revolutions to witness the new Zion as a character, will return to his role.
Carrie-Anne Moss also caused some confusion among the fans because her protagonist, Trinity, died together with Neo in the third series of The Matrix, so the Trinity could be a fresh version set up for The Matrix 4.
What Will Be The Plot Of Matrix 4?
There is currently no confirmation of what the movie could be because it is still very early in its growth.
When asked about the fresh film, Lana said: “Many of the concepts that Lilly and I have explored our reality 20 years ago have now become even more important.”
“I am very glad to have these characters in my lives and grateful to my wonderful colleagues for another opportunity of working.”
Fans are just going to have to wait and see what the tale is about.
