Singer and actress Jennifer Lopez were captured on camera nearly falling from a balcony at the premiere of her new movie, Hustlers, at the Toronto International Film Festival.
A video gets viral online, which reveal the singer stumbling and falling forward while waving to the audience from a balcony in a movie theatre. Thankfully, it did not get her long at all to recover, holding herself from merely falling over the ledge by placing her hands forward, leading to saving herself.
The footage captured by TMZ also highlights the audience at TIFF panting as they saw the near fall.
Just times after that, though, they can also be listened cheering for the triple threat because of her excellent recovery. It is still unclear what created her almost fall at this time, but it could have been a critical condition if Lopez was not able to grab onto the ledge before toppling over it. In reply to the crowd cheering, Jennifer smiled and waved, standing tall.
After watching the viral video, a viewer wrote that “They should make those railings higher. That is a lawsuit waiting to happen.” Another reacted by saying, “I am shocked nobody was behind her holding her from falling, I mean, what are they being paid for?”
Apart from the incident, Jennifer stunned on the red carpet, wearing a plunging yellow dress that also had a front slit.
Talking about the accessories, she wore a pair of silver open-toe stilettos and a clutch decorated with jewels representing a stack of money. The grip was not random, however. It was the celebrities way of praising her new movie since she plays the role of a stripper.
The film will be released in theatres on September 13 and features other big names in the industry such as Cardi B, Constance Wu, Keke Palmer, Lili Reinhart as well as Lizzo.
