Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards’ youngest daughter tied the knot with her long term partner.
Alexandra Richards took vows with South African visual artist and filmmaker Jacques Naude at Lachat Town Farm in rural Weston, Connecticut, on America’s east coast. Richard and his wife threw a grand party for their daughter and son in law.
Alexandra 33, took to her Instagram account and posted a picture of herself all dolled up in wedding dress.
Captioning the shot, she wrote: #AboutLastNight Over the moon to announce I’m a Mrs today! #SundayLove”.
Alongside a heartwarming caption and her wedding dress snap, the new bride shared a shot of Marilyn Monroe posing in a bridal gown during one of her three wedding ceremonies, captioning it as: ‘Mood.’
She also shared a story on her Instagram in which she was getting ready for the big day accompanied by a snippet of music from The Dixie Cups’ hit Going To The Chapel Of Love.
Ronnie Wood and Charlie Watts Keith’s Rolling Stones band-mates witnessed the couple exchanging vows. Although Mick Jagger was not present.
Meanwhile the guitarist’s daughter Leah Wood, his daughter with ex-wife Jo, stayed further east with family friends in Westchester Country hamlet Waccabuc.
Alexandra announced her engagement on the new year.
“I couldn’t be more blessed or happier than to bring in this new year with my sister and my future husband to be,’ she wrote.
‘What a year it has been! HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE! Cheers to 2019!’
The couple had been dating for over two years before their engagement and were first photographed together by paparazzi and fans in February 2017 at the Whitney Museum.
