Salvatore Salvio, a West Newton man is facing assault charges for brutally beating and injuring his girlfriend’s 1-year-old son.
Mother told the investigators that she left her son with his boyfriend to take care of him while she was in office.
But, when mother came back home she heard her son crying, she went upstairs and saw her son had bruises and marks on his body, he also had facial injuries and even his feet were punctured. The woman called police immediately and informed them that “her child had no injuries and was acting completely normally.”
According to the police when the mother of 1-year-old confronted her boyfriend he denied injuring his son.
When the mother tried to leave the house to get help from the neighbors, her boyfriend stopped her from going outside. A high voltage physical drama between the two resulted in her boyfriend stepping back and run away. The time police came her boyfriend managed to run away.
As reported from the Police, Salvio “is a heroin user,” and the puncture mark injuries on the child’s feet may be from a syringe.
Salvio is charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, terroristic threats, recklessly endangering another person and harassment.”
Police are currently investigating to dig more out of the case and know every side of the story.
