A 19-year-old teenager committed a heinous crime of molesting his own mum while she was unconscious at a party in her home.
The suspect is identified as William McKerrow, 19, who accepted the crime he did after denying for a couple of times.
The woman collapsed in the party at her home. Next day when she woke up, she found herself in different clothes. The mum also found that her hair extension had fallen out, and noticed the headboard had moved.
She tried to remember what happened but failed to do so but felt her thighs aching and thought there was “something wrong down there”.
To confirm her doubt she went to abuse checkup which confirmed Mckerrow assaulted her.
The victim said, ” I feel dirty and unclean and I don’t know if I want to continue anymore, I feel suicidal and have had to see my GP and I am on medication for anxiety,” she said in a victim impact statement read out during a sentencing hearing at Manchester Crown Court.
“I was believing that I had to give evidence whilst not knowing what happened to me. I don’t know how I can move on from this without knowing what happened. The house is not feeling like my family home. I am not the same person.”
Mckerrow denied several times the accusations but later he accepted that he is guilty.
McKerrow has now been jailed for five years.
He was also made the subject of a ten-year restraining order prohibiting contact with the victim and was ordered to the Offenders Register for an indefinite period.
The victim asked her younger brother to take her young child to nursery.
Mckerrow told the victim that he helped her as she was drunk last night and also banged her head on a sink.
