Police in Washington, assume that they have stopped what could have been another school massacre. A seventeen-year-old boy is under confinement after being turned in by his mother.
His mother Nicole stated, “I know a lot of people that go to College Place High School. Their lives would have been forever changed,” Nicole said. “It’s devastating. I know I did all I can do and that I made the right choice,” Nicole continued.
That decision of calling the police deputies after reading her son’s journal. Her son wrote about attacking his school on a specific date April 20, 2020, after 20 years of Columbine Massacre.
Her son’s dairy went into chilling detail that he would detonate use multiple firearms, and pipe bombs to “execute survivors” and “blast anyone insight.”
When queried how it feels like a mother to turn her son in, she answered, “Like I’ve done something wrong.“
Police Deputies consider she did everything appropriately.
“She’s very courageous,” said Police Chief, Troy Tomaras. “It’s clearly very emotional for her. She loves her son.“
She said her son told her it was only an imaginative writing activity and that it was all “just a story.“
“Well, he’s plotting to attack and kill people. That’s beyond creative writing. That’s beyond normal,” Police Cheif Troy Tomaras said.
Nicole said, acknowledging that he’s preserved right now in prison than at school. “Truth hurts sometimes.”
Police Cheif Troy Tomaras said Nicole’s efforts saved people’s lives.
“Absolutely, very courageous, very grateful,” he stated.
