Rumors recommended that Apple will begin to launch the iPhone SE 2 very soon. A new statement coming from analyst Ming-Chi Kuo now shows the launch timeline of the iPhone SE 2. The statement suggests that the iPhone SE 2 will start in Q1 of 2020. In addition to the timeline of the launch, Kuo has also exposed some of the key specs and the cost of the iPhone SE 2.
iPhone SE 2 would highlight the most advanced Apple A13 Bionic chip which is observed on the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro series. The processor would get joined with 3GB RAM
The iPhone SE 2 would feature the newest Apple A13 Bionic chip, which was introduced during the launch of the iPhone 11 series. Along with the A13 chipset, the iPhone SE 2 will come with 3GB of RAM. Kuo has said that iPhone 6 users will be the key target market for the iPhone SE 2. Since the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus cannot upgrade to iOS 13, the iPhone SE could offer the latest iOS experience. Also, the A13 Bionic chip will enable augmented reality content and Apple Arcade access for iPhone SE 2 users.
Comparable to the iPhone SE the upcoming iPhone SE 2 is also assumed to hit the Indian market. Examining India is a price-sensitive market the iPhone SE 2 may achieve wide popularity and demand in the country. The same statement also exhibits that the iPhone SE 2 will launch in three colors Space Gray, Silver and Red. To be true the iPhone SE 2 will not include 3D Touch.
Kuo moreover foretells that the starting value for the new cheaper iPhone will be $399 (~Rs 28,400). While the design and layout of the phone will mimic that of the iPhone 8, it will appear with the latest A13 chip and 3GB RAM, the same processor as the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 with 1 GB less RAM.
Kuo proceeds to assume that Apple will declare the iPhone SE 2 in the first quarter of next year.
