Fantastic Beasts 3 Kicks Off Pre-Production, Gets A Spring 2020 Filming Date

With Potterheads all around the world waiting anxiously for the third part of The Fantastic Beasts series, here are some updates for it.

Do you remember Steve Cloves, the person who helped in adapting the original harry potter books into a movie series? Well, he is the one who is going to co-write the third Fantastic Beasts film. When the Crimes Of Grindelwald struggled at the global box office in the year 2018, he came into view.

You see it is not entirely a surprise that Kloves will help write the third movie as the critical comments on the Crimes Of Grindelwald suggest a lot of negativity. People have expected of the movie to have glimmers of the magic but it does not have the effect as its predecessors. Fans too felt that the movie was bit hollow and disconnected from the main story. An underwhelming score of just 37% is provided to it.
Now the most important news about the filming of the third part! Fantastic Beasts 3 will begin the shooting in early spring next year i.e. 2020. And you know what? The release date is also known!!! It will release in theatres on November 12, 2021. I know it is pretty late considering the second part came out in November 2018 and the third part will be provided to us exactly 3 years after the previous movie.

The director of the films “Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them” and “The Crimes Of Grindelwald” is David Yates who will also direct the remaining three parts of the story. He also directed the last four parts of the Harry Potter films.

The film will be shot in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, and will feature Eddie Redmayne who will perform the lead role of Newt Scamander, Jude Law enacting Albus Dumbledore and Johnny Depp as Gellert Grindelwald.
