The revamped Disney/Sony agreement that made Spider-Man back to the MCU modified the rules from the previous arrangement. Tom Holland can show up as the wall-crawler from now on in Sony’s Marvel movies as Peter Parker now anticipated to turn up in the likes of Venom 2 and Morbius. May be could it work the opposite way. Is it possibly Tom Hardy’s Venom appears in the MCU instead?
According to a source he can, as Kevin Feige is now open bringing Sony’s characters into the Marvel Cinematic Universe(MCU). The producer is currently looking at his options and one upcoming MCU project that Eddie Brock may appear in is the Dark Avengers movie.
Norman Osborn is believed to be a major player for the MCU going forward. But the temporary split with Sony left things unclear for a moment there, with Peter Parker now back in the fold, Osborn can again be utilized as a big bad for upcoming phases. It is believed that the studio will accommodate the Dark Reign arc from the comics which marks the villain taking over S.H.I.E.L.D. and creating his own team of Dark Avengers, with familiar super-criminals filling the places of the heroes. Wow!!!
In the comics, Venom is part of the team; but with Mac Gargan as the one inside the symbiote suit. Sources told Bill Murray was returning in Ghostbusters 3 and a new Scream movie was happening, both of which were confirmed this week.
It’s a good thing for the Venom fan. Tom Hardy is set to return on the screen again as Eddie Brock and his other half next October for Venom 2 from director Andy Serkis. After this movie, you can expect and learn more about the possible MCU characters and appearances.
