A Georgia man and his sweetheart are behind bars after he killed a Clark Atlanta college student, who had lately filed a police report upon him for physical assault.
Atlanta police discovered the dead body of Alexis Crawford, 21, at the Exchange Park in Decatur on Friday. Crawford had been disappeared since October 30.
Throughout a Friday press conversation, Atlanta Police Chief Erika Shields stated that Crawford’s roomie, named as Jordyn Jones, and Jones’ boyfriend, Barron Brantley, both 21, are defendants in the case. One of the suspects led officials to Crawford’s body, Shields said.

On Friday night, authorities held Brantley and filled him with murder. Court records show that Brantley was out on bond for irrelevant charges, including robbery by taking, torture to children, family disturbance, and hindering a person doing a 911 call.
On Saturday morning, the police also arrested Jones and filled her with murder. Both suspects are being taken at the Fulton County jail.
On October 27, Crawford registered a police report upon Brantley for “unwanted kissing and touching.” Crawford told police that the episode occurred on October 26. When Crawford questioned Brantley why he was touching and kissing her, he allegedly insisted he assumed she was Jones. Crawford indicated they had been carousing that night.
Crawford revealed that Brantley later stalked her to the bathroom, according to the police report. She said she memorized he had no shirt on before she blacked out. The college student said she didn’t remember they had physical intercourse, but a seduction kit was delivered at Grady Hospital.
