Sex Education created waves when it entered Netflix at the start of the year. The unfiltered, practical portrayal of sex during those Sixth Form years won many fans and massive praise. There was the serious as well as the funny. The series tackled bullying, peer pressure, abortion, exploring your sexuality as LGBTQ+, masturbation and more handled sensitively.
The series revolves around the makeshift sex education clinic that two school pupils set up which introduced us to some unbelievable talent like ELLE List 2019 honouree Ncuti Gatwa , Emma Mackey, Aimee Lou Wood, and Conn0r Swindells. It also returned back to our screens established talents like the inimitable Gillian Anderson and her on-screen son Otis – Asa Butterfield. Netflix has delivered the first look images for the second series as well as what audiences can expect.
Otis kissed Ola as Otis and Maeve did not get together after their friendship flourished. After bullying Ericin many parts of the season Adam who had previously dated Aimee and hooked up with Eric. But, this occurred days before Adam was sent away to military school by his father, who is also Moordale Secondary’s headmaster.
The first season was such a hit that Netflix confirmed there would be a second shortly after it was published. Netflix has confirmed that the characters mentioned above from the first series will make an appearance as Kedar Williams-Stirling (Jackson), Tanya Reynolds (Lily), and Patricia Allison (Ola).
After publishing the first-look images, the streaming gaint has also given some summaries of the plotlines including the characters in the next season. Usually, there’s a Chlamydia outbreak at Moordale that brings the student-led clinic is in high demand. There are also ‘new kids’ that arrive in the strange town to challenge the status quo. Otis’ relationship with business partner and friend Maeve is now ‘strained, and now Otis and Ola are together as the streaming service revealed. After Aimee ditched the Untouchables, Maeve and Aimee are back to being the best of friends.
The trailer for season 2 of Sex Education is not yet arrived. But the question is When will Sex Education series 2 come to Netflix? We don’t know the exact date, but eight episodes of the show have been confirmed for a 2020 release date.
