A twenty-six-year-old Battle Creek resident appeared at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital with his critically wounded kid. Police stated in a recorded discharge report Friday, November 15. Police officers were requested just before 6 p.m.
Angela Lee the grandmother of the young kid that was shot at her son’s residence. Angela said he serves as an equipped security guard and his son had discovered the gunshot himself.
The Father of the kid has told police officers that he was at the home playing a pc game and had his gun on the sofa next to him, whereas his son was napping.
The Father told to police officers that he got up to use the washroom, and later he heard a gunshot. He immediately hurried to his boy as he was nervous about his 2-year-old baby.
The father declared to the police that he noticed his baby with a wound on his back and drove him to the nearest hospital.
The kid was not critical, and the wound was non-dangerous and was moved to a Kalamazoo medical clinic for additional treatment. He’s expected to be discharged from the clinic in a day or two, police stated within the discharge report.
The examination is extending into how the boy was shot and why the gun was left casually on the sofa, police officials said.
Police officials mentioned the case is under examination, and possible charges against the father might include negligent/reckless utilization of a gun
