A boyfriend was arrested for strangling his married girlfriend in a hotel room, in Alipur, India. The alleged boyfriend was arrested and was recognized as Vicky Mann, 21-year-old. The victim, who he had a love interest with, was Asha, 33-year-old.
The death scene was found on Tuesday, November 12th. On Tuesday morning, at approximately 10.30 am, the staff of the hotel discovered Asha’s body reclining on the bed. The staff cites that they continued knocking the door when they had appeared to serve breakfast meals. When they got no replies, they got worried. The staff then notified the hotel manager. The manager unlocked the door with a master key.
Later, the staff found Asha’s body lying on the bed, with a wound on the side of her face. The hotel staff thought her to be unconscious and summoned police on the scene. After the police officials arrived, they hurried Asha to a local hospital. Where the doctors pronounced her dead.
An inquiry was set up by the police officers. The police officers interpreted the surveillance camera of the hotel. In the recorded video, it was explicit that Asha came with another person.
After the extensive investigation, it was discovered out that Asha and Mann were in a love relation. They both got to know each other on social media in 2018. After conversing over social media, they met each other for the initial time after 4 months.
Eventually, the couple started having an illicit affair and continued meeting each other. Vicky Mann, even after acknowledging that his girlfriend was married and also had two kids, he proceeded to see Asha.
It was later discovered that the pair used to book a room at a hotel whenever they desired to meet. After taking the hotel records, the police officers discovered that before this, the couple had booked room 7 times.
However the motive for the murder has not been established yet, the investigation is still ongoing in the matter.
