The boyfriend of a 17-year-old teen who goes disappeared on November 8 has reached before the Boschfontein Periodical Court in Mpumalanga on Thursday for her brutal death.
The insane boyfriend, 22-year-old Donald Dlamini is indicted for stabbing his girlfriend to death before burning her body with tires for 2 consecutive days.
According to the provincial police representative Brigadier Leonard Hlathi, the police acquired a grievance from Community Policing Forum (CPF) members on Tuesday that they had finally arrested a man who is assumed of having knowledge on the location of the girl, who was reported missing on last Friday at Schoemansdal, Driekoppies Dam near Malelane.
“Police quickly reached to the scene and, upon entry, the suspect admitted to having stabbed the 17-year-old victim to death and then burnt her body with tires for 2 consecutive days,” Hlathi told.
The man pointed out a spot where he supposedly performed the actions and her remains were discovered in the bush.
Dlamini was brought into custody and the matter was delayed to November 21 for a formal bail application.
The provincial commissioner of the SAPS in Mpumalanga, Lieutenant General Mondli Zuma, adored the CPF members who served with the police in making sure that the perpetrator is caught.
