The Incredible Hulk was played by Lou Ferrigno who is a star of Television. For the disappointment in portraying the character of Hulk in Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame, he blames actor Mark Ruffalo and Disney.
The movie is set after a time period of five years from Avengers: Infinity War. In the movie, it is revealed that Bruce Banner was successful in merging his brain with the Other guy’s brawn, after about 18 months in a gamma lab. He created an amalgamation of both the personalities which was informally called “Smart Hulk”.
According to Ferrigno, this reincarnated form of Hulk is inspired from the classic Marvel Comics’ incarnation of “Professor Hulk” appeared to be more refined and a lot like a human.
But Ruffalo that was bulkier, whose skin was greener and also the absence of separation between Banner and his fuel full of anger, ego that altered meant Endgame lacked the beauty of the series that came out in the year 1978 which also starred Bill Bixby.
Ferrigno said at Hamilton Comic Con that what is happening is the first two Hulk movies, the CGI was improving, but in the last movie, Endgame, he was disappointed as he held the views that the Hulk needs to be hideous, he needs to a creature.
Ferrigno says that in the Endgame, Mark Ruffalo and Disney had a lot to do with showing Hulk in that way. He says he does not like the way they portrayed Hulk. He added that the reason why so many people were in awe of Hulk and liked him was snatched away. The beauty and the quality of him.
Ferrigno then said that Endgame was overrated because it went too far with the spaceships, the shooting, and the outer space. He says that fans need not only good stories but also good elements and good messages about life.
