Last month, Craig affirmed with the sources the forthcoming Bond film would be his end.
“Yes! In the prospect, someone other has to perform it,” the star told the sources. When questioned if he’d reconsider directing one of the later airings in the franchise, Craig graciously declined. “For God’s sake, no! I want to come home, eat something, and then go to bed.”
Craig continued, “If you’re a director, then at nighttime you’re yet with the producers, screenwriters, and whatever do I know on the phone. And then following two hours of rest, you have to strengthen up to the set. No thanks!“
“In NO TIME TO DIE, James Bond has departed active service and is experiencing a peaceful life in Jamaica. His rest is short-lived when his old buddy Felix Leiter from the CIA sets up asking for aid. The mission to protect a kidnapped scientist sets out to be far more dangerous than anticipated, leading Bond onto the tracks of an obscure villain loaded with deadly new technology.”
No Time to Die is estimated to hit theaters on April 8, 2020.
