It has been so long since the departure of the world’s famous sitcom, FRIENDS has been announced and it going to happen very soon. Netflix users from The United States will use its departure on the first day of the year 2020.

Globe’s favourite sitcom, FRIENDS, is now leaving Netflix!

This has been known since last year that FRIENDS must go from Netflix. The first news hit the fans last year in December when there was a discussion of deleting it on the first of January, 2019. It was then reported that the series was again renewed for the year 2019 for 80 million dollars!

This upcoming news came long back in the month of July 2019 when the Twitter account of Netflix Us posted acknowledging the removal of the show. They said that this is the one series to which they have to say goodbye now and that they are sorry to see FRIENDS go to the streaming services of Warner Bros. at the beginning of the year 2020 (in The United States) They concluded by saying thank you to the gang for memories.

FRIENDS is scheduled to release on HBO max in May 2019!

Now, that we have already entered into the first week of December, the series has an availability notice showing that FRIENDS is soon to be removed from Netflix in the upcoming month’s first day.

Well, you can actually note it down that FRIENDS is not going to be available for the streaming service on Netflix only in America whereas, countries like Canada and The United Kingdom have declared that they are going to keep friends for the time being.

Now that the show is departing from Netflix, is scheduled to debut on the HBO Max service and is going to release there in the month of May 2020.

The West Side with other smaller sitcoms will leave too by the end of 2020!

FRIENDS is not only one big show that is going to leave Netflix. Leaving in favour of HBO max we have The West Wing, another big title. That is likely to leave by the end of 2020, next year. It is expected of the other smaller titles to leave as well over the course of the next few years.
