The Houston Police Department requires the public’s help with identifying two unnamed suspects who robbed and assaulted five people Monday on the south side of Houston.
The suspects are represented as Hispanic males. One was carrying a white shirt. The other male was consuming dark-colored clothing. Police said the suspects not only hurt their victims, but they also scared them with a gun.
Houston police issued a surveillance video of one of the assaults. In which, you can see the suspects force a man to the ground then repeatedly punch and hit him. One of the suspects was seen dragging out a large knife and stabbing the victim various times.
The first incident occurred at about 6:00 p.m. in the 900 blocks of Redwood at an apartment complex. A guy said he was inside his residence balcony when the two suspects approached him, put a knife to his throat and demanded cash. Police said the suspects punched the guy in the face when he said he didn’t have any money and moved away.
The second incident occurred at about 6:40 p.m. along a walking path at 6113 Gulf Freeway. The victim said he was neared by the two suspects while he was walking and was hit from behind, letting him fall to the ground. The suspects then beat the victim and punched him repeatedly while seeking him for any property, police said. They then ran away.
The third incident occurred shortly before 7 p.m. in the 7600 blocks of Tipps at Mason Park. The victim in this event said while he was at the park the two suspects approached him and began to attack him. One of the suspects hit the victim with a knife while trying to take his beginnings, the victim reported. The suspects were capable to take the victim’s phone and move away.
The fourth episode happened at about 10:45 p.m. at a residential complex in the 2500 block of Beatty. A man alleges the suspects jumped him while he was in the washing area and was seeking to take his wallet and phone. The man tried to fight back, but one of the suspects dragged out a knife and wounded him, police said. Both suspects got away with the man’s belongings.
The last incident occurred at 11:10 p.m. in the Fernandes Food Mart in the 6200 blocks of Griggs. The victim in this event said he was taking out the garbage when the two suspects neared him and punching him. One of the suspects then dragged out a knife and began stabbing the victim while stealing his wallet and cell phone. Both suspects got away.
