The case is from Cleveland, Ohio, a 26 year old man has been accused of having a connection with a shooting which took place at a nightclub in the city’s Union-Miles neighborhood where a 19-year-old woman was killed in the incident.
Eric White Jr. of Cleveland is accused of killing a woman. He is currently being held in the Cuyahoga County Jail on the bond of $1 million after his first court appearance.
Catera Fowler, 19, was killed in the shooting after she sustained gunshot wounds in the head and chest whereas White suffered a gunshot to his leg.
The shooting occurred at about 1 a.m. on Sunday at the Legacy Entertainment Complex.
A serious fight broke out inside the club which was followed by security guards ordering everyone to leave the premises. According to the information provided by the sources, White was shot in the leg and ran outside while firing with his gun.
Police has informed that White’s bullets hit Fowler and later, someone drove White to University Hospitals for treatment.
Fowler was very soon taken to a hospital with an ambulance where she was pronounced dead.
