A man used to Reddit to ask fellow users whether he was in the incorrect for setting visitation rules for his newborn boy.
Late last month, the unknown father, who goes by Mission_Ear on the social media platform, explained that he and his wife had a newborn boy. As an anxious parent, he said that he held off visitations for the first day before giving an invitation to friends and family to visit his son.
Though the guy admitted that he felt “overbearing,” his wife purportedly supported his demands.
At one time, the man’s parents left by the hospital as his aunt, her husband, and two grown-up children were still attending the baby, the Reddit user said. After his aunt and her family decided to cut their visitation little, the man’s mother purportedly took the baby and undid his swaddle.
The Reddit user went on to explain how his in-laws came to visit an hour next with one of their grandchildren. When his woman told her parents that the child could not come in due to his age, the baby allegedly cried.
“[My mother-in-law] starts to scold us for forbidding children, so my father pipes up saying that we’re being too coddling,” the man wrote.
The user’s mom also apparently chimed in.
