As it was announced on the Twitter handle of Cristopher McQuarrie, Shea Wingham is going to join the Mission: Impossible 7 and 8. Wingham is 50 years in age and his most recent role was in the movie, Joker by Todd Phillips and earned more than 1 billion dollars. He enacted the role of Detective Burke but now he is going to join the universe of spies next.
Christopher McQuarrie teases the possibility of employing Shea Wingham in seven and eight!
Extensive credits in Hollywood has been given to Wingham on doing the iconic roles in Vice, Bad Times At The El Royale and Silver Linings Playbook and American Hustle, a movie by David O. Russell. HBO’s Boardwalk Empire had Wingham playing the role of Elias ‘Eli’ Thompson for 5 seasons and he is best known for it.
Christopher McQuarrie teased the role Shea Wingham with a picture of him and teased about the role he will play saying that we will not see him coming. But can anyone guess what is meant by this? I, personally think that he is going to be a villainous character who will throw off Ethan Hunt’s mission in a way or other. No one can deny that Wingham is certainly a very talented actor who has the ability to be a major antagonist in the movies of Mission: Impossible
