A high school basketball coach in California detained on suspicion of groping a 14-year-old female student, authorities told.
30-year-old Elijah Kim, a junior varsity boys basketball coach at Sunny Hills High School in Fullerton, captured around 3:45 p.m. Friday after the girl’s mother called the school to report his alleged behavior, the Fullerton Police Department tells.
Detectives think there may be further victims.
Charges And Punishments
Kim, who was also a replacement teacher in the district, indicted with doing lewd and lascivious acts with a minor under the age of 15-years-old, police told.
The suspect brought to Fullerton City Jail and later freed after posting $20,000 bail, according to the sources.
