A Moorhead man faces Charges of four Counts Of physical abuse after a girl reported to police and authorities that the monstrous man had molested her multiple times over the last 10 years.
James William, 57, appeared Thursday, Jan. 16, in Clay County District Court on four counts of charges for criminal physical conduct three in the first degree and one in the third degree. The man’s next hearing is scheduled for Jan. 28.
Court records detail charges from the girl that stretches as far back as October 2009. She told Moorhead Autourtites and officials that William had physically abused her since she was 7 years old, and the most recent attack on her happened Jan. 6, 2020, according to a police report.
The complaint report describes inappropriate touching the girl when she was 6 years old until she became 12 when William supposedly started to molest the girl.
The man was set at $250,000, Bond, but he can be freed with requirements for $150,000, according to court documents ad officials report.
William is presently in custody at the Clay County Jail. Michael Minard has been appointed as his attorney.
