A man who Physically assaulted a seven-year-old girl after kidnaping her from a playground in West Yorkshire has now arrested.
The monstrous man Gavin Sykes, 42, was sentenced to eight-and-a-half years in jail at Leeds Crown Court on Friday after confessing kidnapping a child and determined guilty of two counts of physical assault.
He was also condemned to doing an offense with the intent to commit a physical offense.
Police and official said the girl would be injured and assaulted several times if the On-duty officers were not successful in arresting the man.
They got a complaint at 7.47 pm on June 20, 2019, describing the potential kidnapping from Woodlands Avenue, in Holmfirth, and quickly reacted.
The man’s Toyota Celia car was traced and found 15 minutes later and stopped.
The helpless girl was rescued and saved by officers, and the monstrous man was arrested.
He was then indicted and appeared in court two days later.
The Investigation officer said the man lured his victim into his car, and it is fortuitous the act was observed and immediately informed, urging an immediate police acknowledgment.
“We strongly assume the young girl would have come to more harm and assault if the officers had not been able to deploy so quickly and find his car when they did.”
The officer added: “This incident has certainly been very frightening for the victim and her family and we hope that seeing this man arrested will be of some measure of comfort for the family of the victim.”
