A Tangled paedo claimed holding images of child abuse is his “constitutional RIGHT” because he recognizes as an 8-year-old, court records reveal.
Joseph Ryan Gobrick, 45, was judged to a minimum of 10 years behind bars after Michigan cops raided his home to find a computer full of child abuse pictures.
Sick Gobrick also tried to dispute his possession of the images was preserved under the First Amendment of the Constitution.
“I’ve always been an 8-year-old girl,’’ he told Judge Paul Denenfeld at his sentencing last week, according to media reports.
“Even my drawings and fantasies, I am always an 8-year-old girl,” he told the shocked courtroom.
Prosecutors told Gobrick sketched and spoke about forcing infants before trying to claim the Constitution protected his unhealthy fantasies.
He bizarrely alleged the material was not obscene because he felt like an eight-year-old girl instead of a middle-aged man.
Gobrick also said the pictures were computer-animated and fell under the First Amendment’s protection – but the judge didn’t purchase it.
The perv was reportedly held in 2018 when authorities in Grand Rapids found a runaway Ohio teen living in his residence.
Cops recovered the painful images from Gobrick’s computer after launching an inquiry into the missing 17-year-old girl.
There were eight victims – including children and kids as young as five – being sexually attacked in the images, court records show.
Gobrick overlooked his right to counsel and opted to defend himself at the Kent County Circuit Court.
Prosecutors countered his claims these pictures of children being abused were a form of free speech.
Gobrick said he wasn’t even invited to children, likening abusing a child to getting close to a reptile.
“I would no sooner have physical with a child than you would with a rattlesnake,” the sicko stated. “It’s just not safe.”
The prosecution highlighted the disgusting pictures of children he drew in his jail cell.
But Gobrick then related laws against child physical abuse images to the totalitarian government in Nazi Germany.
He said: “Under the law, Auschwitz was legal. What you’re doing here is wrong, just as Auschwitz was.’’
Gobrick was held on three charges of obscene child physically abusive activity and one charge of using a computer to commit a felony.
The monster – who got 10 to 20 years behind bars – was previously convicted of physical abuse in New York back in March 2001.
