A woman struggling with cancer has given birth to ‘miracle twins’ after experts stated it was doubtful that she would have babies after cervical cancer treatment.
She Finally Got Her Life-Changing Surgery
Rebecca Allen had most of her cervix tissue amputated after her diagnosis in 2017, which led the woman at high risk of a miscarriage if she ever became pregnant.
The woman feared that she would never have any kid.
But then she met laborer Andrew Kirkwood in a bar just two days after her life-changing surgery.
The couple, who resides in Thetford, Norfolk, began trying for a baby six months later when Ms. Allen was presented the all-clear report from her cancer.
She Was Pregnant Again With Twins
After experiencing the heartbreak of one miscarriage, the couple was astounded to find Ms. Allen, 41, pregnant with twins.
‘I was blessed and lucky enough to get pregnant again after one month, and to be positive, and we scheduled a private scan at eight weeks.
‘I feel astonishingly lucky to have twins, and I am head over heels in love with them.’
‘Being a mother isn’t the easiest thing, but it is surely amazing. I wouldn’t change it for the world.’
Around 3,200 women in the UK are diagnosed with cervical cancer. The reports claim that 852 dies, according to Cancer Research UK.
