A monstrous man has started the process of urging his 17-year jail term after he was doomed for kidnapping and molesting an 11-year-old girl for almost five hours.
In a bid to decrease the strictness of the sentence, Brett David Hill has now listed a notice of purpose to review the same with the New South Wales Court.
The man kidnapped the girl when she was on her way home in Newcastle and continued to assault her at three different places, according to the news reports. In December, an NSW District Court judge sentenced Hill for a maximum of 23 years and six months with no chances of parole for 17 years.
The victim later reported to the court how she was left in constant fear of visitors after Hill destroyed her childhood, continuing that she even thought of suicide.
Charges And Punishment
In conclusion, Judge Roy Ellis determined that what Hill crimes was extreme and that he had displayed no regret, empathy, or sympathy during the brutal attacks on the girl.
Hill alleged in his defense that he was intoxicated and watching explicit content before he kidnapped the girl. However, he could not reveal his full crimes. ”
Hill kidnaped the girl at about 9:15 am on June 12, 2018, when she was on the way to her home at Adamstown Heights.
For the subsequent five hours, the monstrous man physically assaulted the helpless schoolgirl before finally releasing her at about 2:15 pm on Kotara railway station.
Police and official were able to capture the predator four days later after the girl presented them with a complete description of her attacker.
