An inquiry is underway after two men were discovered shot to death inside a car on Detroit’s east side early Monday daylight.
Detroit police tell the shooting occurred nearby 2 a.m. near the corner of Eastwood Avenue and Barlow Street — south of 7 Mile and east of Hoover.
Cops believe the two men were in their 30s. One man was discovered lying outside the driver’s side door of a black Chevy Impala, and the other guy was in the passenger’s seat. The car’s doors were open when police came on the scene, and it appeared as if it had crashed into a chain-link fence, possibly as a consequence of the shooting.
Police have not released the identities of the sufferers who have not given any word on potential suspects. Police are still examining what may have led to the shooting.
