Netflix Officially Renewed You For Season 3
Netflix renewed “You” for the third season. News of the renewal appears less than three weeks after the premiere of Season 2, which dropped on Netflix on Dec. 26.
“You” has got mostly positive reviews from critics over both of its seasons. However, in his review for Variety, Daniel D’Addario mentioned:
“By the moment this new season finishes, establishing a third insane pursuit of a woman to seduce and destroy, watchers could be forgiven for thinking a bit tired of being addressed by an ever-less-charming killer, one who’s become a tiresome company.”
Release Date Of You Season 3
Season 3 will have ten episodes and fixed to debut in 2021.
Plot Of You Season 3
The ending of the You season two was shocking – while Caroline Kepnes’s second novel, ‘Hidden Bodies’, reveals that Joe’s partner Love has a dark side; the TV series had her go as far as murder both Delilah (Carmela Zumbado) and Candace (Ambyr Childers).
Season three looks to see the murderous couple come to terms with this revelation – as well as a particular surprising pregnancy. The show appears to indicate that Joe and Love will try to become a happy family unit, though we convinced some murder is going to get in the way eventually.
Meanwhile, Showrunner Patrick Gamble told Entertainment Weekly, “I have so numerous questions regarding Love’s mother, who’s mainly in the picture at the end of the season, like how much she knows regarding her children.
“We wrote [the finale] believing that we will get the chance to tell more story because we’re delighted with the seeds planted at the end of season two.”
Both seasons one and two based on novels written by Caroline Kepnes, but her third book is yet to be released. It is unknown it will adapt elements of the unreleased fiction, or if the show will forge its path.
Cast Of You Season 3
Stars Penn Badgley and Victoria Pedretti are verified to reprise their roles in the new season, with more casting to declared at a later date.
