Since there are rumors about Sam Raimi replacing Scott Derrickson as the director of Doctor Strange sequel in the upcoming movie Multiverse of Madness, we have some other news as well. Apparently, the script is still not finished yet!
There Is Not A Proper Script Yet For The Doctor Strange Sequel? Details Given Below.
It seems like the film producers are not only replacing the director but are lap eyeing a new writer as well. The studio might have found a new writer in Michael Waldron, who is also the showrunner of Disney + show Loki.
Writer C. Robert Cargill who was initially supposed to write the script for the sequel went on to Twitter to clear the air. He wrote a long note briefly explaining his and Scott Derrickson’s exit from the entire sequel. According to Robert, they never had the opportunity to write off the draft of the film. Scott Derrickson stepped down from the role of a director due to some creative differences. Now the writer has also set the record set by confirming the fact through his Twitter account. Take a look at what Robert said about the following issue.
Since it keeps coming up in news stories, it's worth noting that Scott and I never had the opportunity to write a draft of MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS, so whatever they are working with now isn't derivative of our work.
I am of course very excited to see where they take Stephen next.

Apart From A New Director, Now We Have A New Writer As Well!
It is a bit surprising that considering the fact that the film is set to release in 2021, there is no original writing draft written by the duo. However, we are sure that Waldron has started working on the script as it has been a few weeks that the announcement was made.
Now that fans are hearing about these changes, it is possible that there might be a slight delay in the release of the sequel. However, it would be interesting to see how the fresh new two names turn the sequel around compared to the first one.
