Locky And Key is a horror series that is inspired by the comic book series of Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodríguez. It dropped on Netflix on February 7, 2020.
The season 1 of Locke & Key only just premiered on Netflix in February, but fans have been waiting for a second season.
Discussing the revival of the Netflix show, it is not officially ordered for a second season by Netflix. But Carlton Cuse, the showrunner, responded to the sources that the writing team has already commenced working on season 2, even though it hasn’t been verified.
Here’s What We Know About Locke And Key Season 2
For now, there is no release date for season 2 of Locke and Key as Netflix does not officially renew it. As the show is a fantasy and sci-fi genre, so CGI effects are necessary for creating this show, which takes time. According to sources, work on season 2 is started.
If it renews officially, the new season will take the time of more than a year to arrive. We can hope for season 2 to come until mid-2021.
If the show renews for season 2, these cast members will comeback:
Jackson Robert Scott as Bode Locke, Connor Jessup as Tyler Locke, Darby Stanchfield as Nina Locke, Sherri Saum as Ellie Whedon, Emilia Jones as Kinsey Locke
Griffin Gluck as Gabe and Laysla De Oliveira as Dodge
After the finale of season 1, Dodge was not lifeless and ready to renew his quest for the keys.
When Cuse was inquired if there were any more other keys from the comics he required to introduced in season one, he told:
“There are lots of stuff that we need them to do that we just kicked out into season 2. So apparently we’ll be making a second season of the show. We need to be able to invigorate and refresh the show as an open-ended series constantly, and, you know, I think that will work out well.”
The omega key might not be safe, but that could all change in season 2.
As comics inspires locke and Key, so there is plenty of stuff to choose for a second season that will inevitably involve more extra magic, keys, and family drama.
