A 6-year-old South Carolina girl who vanished in the wake of getting off a school transport this week has been discovered dead, as per reports.
The group of Faye Marie Swetlik, who had been absent from her Cayce home since Monday, was discovered Thursday, The State reports.
“It is with incredibly overwhelming hearts we’re declaring we found a body the coroner recognized as Faye Marie Swetlik,” Cayce Department of Public Safety Director Byron Snellgrove told correspondents during a news meeting.
