A North Carolina man has been accused of abducting and attack after a lady announced she was kicked, punched, gagged, and chomped, leaving her with broken ribs and a wrecked spine. Benny Ray Garrett, Jr., 47, told appointees he abused and “messed up,” the lady, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department, stated, as indicated by the Statesville Record-Landmark.
The lady, who was not named, was found to have a few broken ribs, a messed up spine, chomp marks, and severe wounding when she was analyzed at Atrium Health-Lincoln. As indicated by police, the lady said Garrett got her around 5 p.m. on Sunday and carried her to his home. There, the two started drinking, and Garrett began to the ambush. The lady said he attempted to escape on various occasions. However, he halted her each time.
At long last, at around 9 p.m., she escaped Garrett’s home and fled into the parking garage of a close-by cinema, where she called 911. Crisis responders said they discovered her incompletely dressed, grisly, and harmed. Sheriff’s representatives, outfitted with a court order, went to Garrett’s home, where they needed to break the entryway. They discovered Garrett inside and captured him.
He’s been accused of second degree capturing, attack delivering substantial damage, and ambush by strangulation exacting high cost. He was requested to hang on a $75,000 bond. The Record-Landmark said he was on post-trial supervision after an ongoing discharge from government jail on tranquilize charges.
