As per the information received, it seems as if “Uncharted” would not be the only famous game franchise that will receive a movie adaptation in the coming years.

As per the sources, the production of this movie will somewhere start towards the end of 2020. The makers of this movie have not revealed much information about this, but Roth commented on this.
He stated that he was delighted with the script of the movie and the support the makers are receiving from Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford. He is also one of the executive producers alongside Strauss Zelnick.
The movie will be produced by two well-known personalities from Iron Man and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, i.e., Avi and Ari Arad. Talking about the scriptwriter, Craig Mazin, who is best known for Chernobyl, is in charge of writing the script for the movie.
The big-screen Borderlands upcoming task has been in progress now for a very long period. The makers started working on this project from 2015. It can now be readily understood that this movie is long overdue for a director and a production team.
