A brief description of the case
An Oklahoma based woman is booked for abusing her infant after she allegedly got fed up with baby’s cries.
The woman is identified as Lea Robinson. A report against her was filed on October 7 in 2019. Reportedly, the case was filed after a month when the infant was hospitalized at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, with facial bruising, which first considered as diaper rashes.
The mother of one changed her statement several times
When interrogated by the cops, Lea flipped her stories several times. According to her statements, she claimed that she once punched her infant when he didn’t stop crying. In addition to this, she even bathed the little infant in hot water.
Physicians revealed the cause of the death
The doctor who treated the infant told that the rashes on her body were due to hot water, and the bruises on her face were the result of bite marks.
Charges against the woman
On Wednesday, Robinson was arrested and charged with child abuse by injury. She remains behind bars on a $50,000 bond.
