Ben Affleck, who played the role of Batman in super hit movies like The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises, is backing for his successor Rober Pattinson.
Robert Pattinson will be playing the role of Batman this time. He is famous for his role in various movies, especially for TWILIGHT. Pattinson would be playing the role of Caped Crusader in next year’s The Batman.
Beginning with 2016’s Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, Affleck came as the fifth actor to execute the role of Batman in a live-action movie, and he performed in three films total (which involves a small part in Suicide Squad). Affleck was supposedly going to perform three major tasks in the upcoming Batman movie. He was supposed to direct, write, and star in the upcoming movie.
Later, many reports came in the light that stated his role would be taken over by someone else in the movie. Affleck later left the project, and Matt Reeves approved on to write and direct, whereas it was decided that Pattinson would play the role of Bruce Wayne.
The makers have already started the production process on The Batman. Recently, Reeves revealed the very first official look of Pattinson in the Batman costume. Enthusiasm for the 2021 movie has only been making as production has proceeded, particularly due to its extensive cast.
One day, while Affleck was promoting for his film, a media person asked him about his time as Batman. Questions were also asked regarding his initial script that he penned down for Batman. Affleck replied by saying, “I think Robert’s a great actor; he’s going to do great.” He further stated, “The movie deserves to be made by someone whose dying to do it and can’t wait, and that wasn’t me at the time, so I moved on.”
