A Rogers man was captured and charged for assaulting a minor. As indicated by a reasonable justification testimony, a minor called a hotline for the Arkansas State Police asking for help and expressing a relative had attacked her for quite a long time.
In the wake of meeting the 12-year-old young lady, police captured 32-year-old Sergio Martinez Jr., who admitted to the maltreatment. Martinez Jr. told police the minor “went onto him” and he “pushed her away.” He confessed to engaging in physical relations with the young lady a few times and to improperly contacting and kissing her.
He was accused of eight checks of Rape, a Class Y Felony, and two tallies of Second-Degree Sexual Assault, a Class B Felony. Martinez Jr. is being held at the Benton County Jail on a $100,000 bond. He set to show up in court on Feb. 24.
