Woman Clinging To Life After Boyfriend Pulled A Machete Attack On Her
A Bronx lady was sticking to life Saturday after her sweetheart purportedly assaulted her with a cleaver, police said. Hector Delacruz, 27, of New Jersey, purportedly hacked his 20-year-former sweetheart late Friday night inside a loft on Grand Concourse close to East 196th Street, in the Fordham Manor neighborhood, specialists said.
The lady had been cut in her neck and back; she was hurried to St. Barnabas Hospital in basic condition, cops said. Delacruz was captured not precisely an hour after the 11 p.m. cutting and accused of endeavored murder, attack, and criminal ownership of a weapon, specialists said.
He was being treated at North Central Bronx Hospital Saturday evening, even though it was vague whether he’d been harmed in the assault, cops said. It wasn’t quickly clear what provoked the supposed residential attack.
Police and investigators were seen thumping on entryways in the Grand Concourse loft on Saturday. One lady in the structure who said she realized the injured individual revealed to The Post the youthful mother had moved to the Bronx loft to “escape from her beau who was badgering her.”
They were “carrying on with a peaceful life” in the structure until the beau “appeared,” she said. The lady included that the injured individual was “an acceptable mother to her girl.”
Another neighbor portrayed the scene after the blade assault. “She was crying, shouting for help … we as a whole felt so terrible; we were unable to see who did it, simply that she was harmed,” the neighbor said. “There was a ton of blood.”
