A 7-Eleven assistant who was lethally shot in Whittier Saturday was distinguished by relatives Sunday as a dad and spouse who moved to the nation to accommodate his family back in India.
Maninder Singh Sahi was recognized by relatives as the injured individual who was killed Saturday around 5:45 a.m. at a 7-Eleven situated at 8438 Santa Fe Springs Road.
The Whittier Police Department affirmed the recognizable proof of the person in question and said he was in his 20s.
Sahi was fired with a self-loader handgun by a man with a halfway secured face, who entered the 7-Eleven store that he worked at with the expectation to submit a theft, police said. The burglar shot Sahi despite the fact that police say he had all the earmarks of being helping out him in observation video.
Specialists are as yet looking for the looter, who escaped by walking with an obscure measure of money. Police discharged stills from reconnaissance video indicating the burglar, who they depict as a dark man around 5 feet, 6 inches tall, wearing a dull hoody over a dim hoodie at the hour of the episode.
